Found this brilliant analogy on Guy Kawasaki's blog on the 'Top Ten Lies of Venture Capitalists'. He comments that we all know about Google's amazing return on investment for the same reason we all know about Michael Jordan. Googles and Michael Jordans are the rarities of the world. They hardly ever happen. Like fairytale endings. Michael had a fairytale ending for the Chicago Bulls. We have yet to see how long the Google fairytale lasts.
